Paint Correction in Mississauga

Swirl marks. Water spots. Dull, lifeless paint. One session with A1 Auto Spa and none of that exists anymore. Professional machine polishing that removes defects from your clear coat and restores your paint to the finish it had the day it left the factory — or better.

What Is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing surface defects from a vehicle's clear coat using a machine polisher and a series of cutting and polishing compounds. Defects like swirl marks (caused by improper washing), water spots, light scratches, and oxidation are safely removed — revealing the true depth and gloss of the paint underneath.

This is not polishing by hand or applying a wax. Professional machine correction removes a controlled amount of clear coat material to physically eliminate the defect. When done correctly, the result is a mirror-like finish that no product out of a bottle can replicate.

Can paint correction remove all scratches?

Paint correction removes defects in the clear coat layer — swirl marks, light scratches, and water spots. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat into the base coat or primer cannot be corrected by polishing. We'll assess your paint before booking and tell you exactly what's achievable.

How long does paint correction take?

A one-step correction typically takes 4–6 hours. A two-step correction takes a full day (6–10 hours) depending on vehicle size and paint condition. We book paint correction as a dedicated full-day appointment.

Should I get ceramic coating after paint correction?

Yes — this is the ideal combination. Paint correction first removes all defects, then ceramic coating seals and protects the corrected surface for years. Getting coating without correction locks in swirls and scratches permanently under the ceramic layer.
